Auto reader view
In iOS 11, Safari comes with a built-in Reader View that makes your reading experience less painful. Basically, once enabled, Reader view removes all the formatting and leaves you with just texts and images. Reader View is not turned on by default, meaning that you need to activate it. Here is how.
Step one: Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad and open a web page you wish to enable Reader View for
Step two: Once you are done, tap and hold on the Reader View button at the top left corner of the screen to bring a popup
Step three: Select Use on All Websites to enable Reader View on all websites. Tap on Use on “example.com” option if you want to turn on Reader View on the website you are visiting.
Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
Safari in iOS 11 introduces a long-awaited privacy feature that prevents sites from following you from one website to the next. The best part is that the feature is enabled by default. However, if you want to turn it off, head to Settings > Safari and turn off the switch for Prevent Cross-Site Tracking at the top. Android simulation pc.
On-device learning
With iOS 11, Safari works perfectly with Apple’s personal assistant, Siri. The Cupertino company adds on-device learning capability to Siri, allowing users to better interact with Apple’s built-in apps. When you are searching a subject in Safari, data will be collected and stored locally. Apple’s digital helper will then use the data to help you use other Apple’s stock apps.
Flight Tracking and word definitions
Safari in iOS 11 is making it much easier to track flights directly on iPhone and iPad. All you need to do is type the airline name and flight number, and you will get the status info of any flight on your iOS device.
Safari’s address bar now serves as a dictionary, all you need to do is to type “define <word>” into the box at the top, the definition will show up instantly without hitting the Go button.
Block all cookies
In iOS 11, you can block all cookies at the same time with a simple tap. In iOS 10, you had four options for blocking cookies in Safari, including always block, allow from current website only, allow from websites I visit, and always block. With iOS 11, everything has become much simpler, as all you need to do is turn off the switch for Block All Cookies in Settings.
